Hello lovelies and happy new year.
It's been a while and i am happy to be back. 2019 was good and 2020 is going to be amazingly awesome. It has already started unbelievably great for me. I have been following and checking out Pitti Immagine Uomo like for the last 4 years and wished I could one day be there too even though it’s a men’s fashion week. One should not limit themselves because of one thing or the other. Like Dr. Wayne W. Dyer said; "have an open mind to everything and attached to nothing.” And so that’s exactly what I was doing, opening my mind to everything and be attached to nothing. I mean after all, there is no limit in the world of fashion. I simply came out to interact with people of similar interest and grow my newtwork zone. As they say, work does not come to you at your home, you have to go to it. And for this I would like to say a big thank you to this amazing brand HARTWICH [ that i have also worked with in Munich ] for giving me this opportunity to accompany them to this exhibition in Florence. Thank you, thank you, thank you. Some of you might be wondering, what is this Pitti ? Well, I have your back covered. Pitti Immagine Uomo is the world’s most important platforms for men’s fashion held twice a year in Florence at the Fortezza da Basso since September 1972. Here you will not only find the Italian brands but also international brands. And here I was, from runways back in school Star Of The Sea in Mombasa and now at Pitti Immagine Uomo in Florence.” Lord, You are so awesome to me. This was a wild exciting experience for me. Totally different from the fashion events I have been to. Men were so stylish dressed up, embracing their vintage, classic, casual clothes as well as their accessories [ pocket squares, ascots, gloves, hats, bags, glasses....you name it ]. Everything was absolutely bold. And I loved how male models were interacting with each other - they simply shared love. We need this unity in the female model world. There is enough space for each one of us. We are in the same industry, just with different skills and different characters. So let’s help each other. I met amazing people, from designers, models, bloggers, photographers and simply fashion enthusiasts.
Thank you Pitti Immagine Uomo #97 and especially Team Hartwich for this unforgettable wild exciting journey. I am looking forward to the future events. And one thing I can tell you lovelies, believe in yourself.
Vogue, I am coming. I believe one day i will shine in your pages. In Jesus's Name i declare....Amen.
Love
